Our Phlebotomy Technician program is designed to prepare students to enter the healthcare workforce as a phlebotomist. The program focuses on skill development in blood collection methods using proper techniques and universal precautions. It includes vacuum collection devices, syringes, capillary skin puncture, butterfly needles, blood culture and specimen collection. In an effort to prepare students for the workforce, the class will have the opportunity to practice blood collections on each other and volunteers prior to the end of this course.
Completion of the registration form and payment does NOT complete your enrollment into the Phlebotomy program. To complete your enrollment into the program students are required to submit a copy of their
