ClassGraphic Students will increase their understanding of foundations of modern dance plus learn some barre work and ballet fundamentals. The class will include dance improvisation activities that tap into creativity, while expanding skills in dance combinations and technique. We will culminate the six weeks with a short-choreographed dance which will incorporate the techniques the students learn.  With many years of teaching, directing and choreographing, Maurine Taufer is a warm and welcoming instructor who aims to instill a love of dance and movement while helping students improve skill and increase confidence and artistic expression.  All levels are welcome. Students can participate with bare feet or ballet shoes.
